The exhaust will give me the twitch alright. Its going to be nutbusters and heat for the head connections, all the bolt heads are more like 12mm, not 13.
The manifolds are stainless (very low magnetism) but the flanges are mild steel...and rotten. I wonder of it can be saved with new flanges?

Now, I like a period accessory as much as the next obsessive enthusiast, but thats a lot of money just to get an embossed logo on a wheel that has split open!

I have other concerns right now: a well mucked about inlet plenum pipe, flattened and hacked (syncro) coolant transfer pipes and some other nasty exhaust botchery...

It also looks as though there were two different crankcase breather/idle air arrangements. The second looks closer to what I have got here.

You name the tools, I have used them to get this exhaust off, including a hacksaw...the thermostat cover came off easily, which was a surprise. 80*C Behr Thompson fitted, no idea how old or why.
The exhaust is just a pattern now (and not a very good one either)
I'll have to graft good and hard before making the call to Hayward and Scott...

Four out of four, with a bit of freeze spray then the heat gun

Quite a lot of Devon in the crumbly pushrod guard gaps, but they are patterns for "4 into 2" stainless replacements.

...and the flywheel end got a good wash down to assess the extent of the damage caused by excess endfloat*, plus I managed to collapse the rear seal and prise it out past the swaging caused by *
