Been lurking since I purchased my first T3 in April...thanks to all for your incredible generosity with time and information, wonderful to see!
As you will surely see from the below, I'm a total novice and I'm trying to figure all this stuff out as I go - I've combed the forums and tried to piece things together, but with this I want to make sure I'm understanding right and not being messed around in my ignorance

Pretty early on I had the Buzzer of Doom and oil pressure light start kicking in between 1800-2000 rpm, the usual story. Took it to a specialised VW Camper workshop and they check it out, changed the pump and both sensors. Apparently pressure fine. Ran silently for the first time for about 40km, then it all starts again.
After a lot of back and forth and more digging, they finally reckon it's the alternator that's the issue, sending an incorrect signal, but that since the buzzer is an annoyance, rather than a major fault, may not be worth changing for now. Driving home, the buzzer starts to go non-stop regardless of revs - a first - so as an immediate solution disconnect the light and buzzer, install pressure gauge/voltmeter. Once engine heats up I'm just about getting 1 bar pressure (is that normal?).
Also on the ride home the coolant light flickers all the way (needle in the middle/slightly above) - never happened before. Check then expansion tank, looks fine. Next time I start up, the battery warning light comes on at start-up (then turns off once I've moved off) - again, this never happened previously. Voltmeter reading 12v on startup then 14 on the move (does this mean it's not charging correctly)? Oh, and for good measure the speedometer light no longer works. All this in the day after picking it up from the mechanic. Could this all be coincidence or what's linking it all?
I'm just frustrated that all this has actually got worse since taking it to get sorted. Am I being taken for a ride (young foreign female without much mechanical nous - working on that last part though

Any advice or things I ought to check much appreciated! Big thanks
