Hi all. Been searching long and hard for a set of alloys and have come across these

Anyone able to give advice on whether they’d fit? I’ve contacted the seller and they’ve suggested they should be ok but had reservations about the offset. Has offered to send me one to try which is good of them but thought someone on here might be able to help. Cheers.

Looks like they might work.mariner wrote:Hi all. Been searching long and hard for a set of alloys and have come across these

Pcd looks correct.
Centre bore is big enough.
Offset is in the ballpark.
My 16 inch mercs have an ET33 offset and theres about 8mm clearance between my tires and the top balljoint. Theres a chance that you might need 5mm spacers.
You'd also need longer studs on the rear and conversion studs on the front.
You'd have to check the diameter of the wheel holes and the shape of the wheel nut seat needed for the rims. Standard vw is 14mm with a 14mm radius seat. Some alloys are 12mm.
Another thing to think about is whether they can support the weight of a van...

Re: Would these wheels fit?
Physically - yes the rims will fit.
However 7" is quite wide with an offset of 37 and as such I suspect depending on tyre choice you may need spacers to avoid rubbing.

Fitting with 205/70/15 results in approx 17mm less inner clearance.
E D I T - Just noticed - listing details say et37 but description states et35. Not much in it but buys another 2mm inner clearance but does however stick out a little further, go too wide a wheel and too wide a tyre you may foul the side loading door.
Final note.... I'm not sure on how true but it is often said that OEM steels/alloys are of stronger construction than most 'asthetic' aftermarket alloys. Obviously mtorsport wheels are excluded here.

Thanks guys. Have some 10mm spacers knocking about that might help. They sound like they could work but not sure I want to gamble - decisions decisions!

As mentioned you may have a problem opening your sliding door.If so you would have to extend the door hinge.
