One Saturday a wave of boredom came over me and then I saw NW_VW_T25’s advert for an ‘86 single cab. I’ve not really been looking for another project but thought what the heck! It only needs an engine an gearbox right?
So I’ll build a thread of my endeavours over the next few months / years and you can all look in and be glad it’s not you!

It won’t be perfect, too many dents but it’s rust free and that’s ok by me.

Rust free is a definate bonus and a few dents on a single cab are just battle scars.
Watching with interest.

if you mean the crack that will probably be fine, pull the valves and check it doesn't extend behind the seat

Everyone has their own method by I find a washer and nut is sufficient.
