Gti conversion devalue van
Was after a few opinions on the gti conversion. I'm currently looking into this conversion as
The head gasket as gone on the Jx. The only thing that worries me
Is will it devalue the van. What's your opinion? Cheers

Re: Gti conversion devalue van
Why would it devalue the van?
More power, better fuel economy, available spares for the Agg engine.
Best thing I have done to my bus, Fun to drive & can easily overtake a lorry uphill.
Whats not to like?

Re: Gti conversion devalue van

Look in the alternative engine info in the tech area on here for loads of info or

I have asked myself this very question.
My DG only has approx 40,000 miles on a refurbed engine, but I do ask myself whether when the time comes do I go Subaru or rebuild route...
In honesty I like the idea of buying an original van and would prefer that - so for a good one would pay more.
I suppose it depends on who is looking to buy when you are looking to sell?
