Very Early 4-Speed Linkage?

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

Very Early 4-Speed Linkage?

Post by Paddy_SP »

I have a very early 4-speed 'box in my bus (code 'CK'), and, as usual for a vehicle of this age, the gear selection is a bit like waving a stick in a cathedral...

I'd like to tighten things up, but the rear relay (Part No: 251 711 219) is currently unavailable from BW, and I can't find it anywhere else either.

I therefore thought it'd make sense to ask on here if anyone knows of any fixes before I look to see if I can re-engineer the relevant bits - so anyone got any good ideas? As ever, any help would be most appreciated!

Best I can do is C&C

It's NLA at VWH
The Campershack - (website paused)
WBX Rebuilds & Upgrades from the beautiful Isle of Arran
