Suppose it depends on what size you are fitting? 4"? 6.5"?, i just fitted my Pioneer 6.5"'s to the lower door cards near your feet, my door cards aren't in the greatest shape so i wasn't too worried about cutting into them, i had to relocate the drivers door pocket though, they required a little bit of metal trimming on the door itself to get them fitted, after that i primered any the bare metal, it sounds 100 times better than the blaupunkt dash speaker that got chucked in the bin
Think Covkid has his mounted somewhere under the dash iirc, not sure of their size though, probably 4" i'd imagine

Yep, 4" in pods. Great sound and no untidy door cards. I put them in with dash out though.
