just a quick one before i get round to complicated ratios & final drives...

the gearbox code is only gonna be a couple of letters and numbers right?
i.e. DH 10..?
is this right?

strat1, i've looked there, just wanted to know if the box number
is a long one, i.e. engine number... or is it like 2 numbers and 2 letters??

the code is short, and will be identical to one of the codes in the 'gearbox code' column.

cheers chaps....looks like i have a 1600
box on this 2000 of mine... will explain
the lack of top end, and the breakneck
speed at the traffic lights! :lol:
