wheel cleaning

Can anyone recommend a good product for cleaning alloy wheels? Thanks

I use Wonder Wheels, and find it effective. If you use a brush at the same time, and I think you have to, really, make sure you have your old clothes on!

I use muc off that I have for my bike. Seems to work well. Don't let dry though as it leaves stains.

I use an old toothbrush as it's gentle and it gets into nooks and crannies.

Wonder wheels is ok but contains acid - I would be inclined to use a non acidic cleaner like Bilberry with wheel brush and then regularly seal with Sonax wheel sealant - this will stop any brake dust eating into your wheels as it provides a coating on them:

They were refurbed Jeff, but they still look like that as have a bit of an obsession with cleaning em' along with the rest of the van!

I got this recently and it really stinks.

Works ok but it eats anything plastic like wheel centres (made a mess of one of my cars), so I'm not sure I'll be using again. Expensive too.

I've always followed the instructions not to spray on to centre caps so have not had a problem.
Yes the smell is strong but not chemical (to my mind) and the results outweigh the smell. Is £12.95 expensive for something that does a good job?

I know what you mean, but hard to avoid drips etc. It definitely works, but comes with the risk I guess.
