I think the cheapest solution would be to source the parts locally.
The guys who manage the prague bus club are running a webshop. They sell good quality parts.

:ok

yes yes yes!!!! Thanks Zoltan! Kösz! This is what I need! MUCH better to get INSIDE the Czech Rep. because duty charges are 30% and postage is absurd - on the other hand, postage within the country are peanuts, and zero duty!
I need to get much more familiar with the Czech language WORDS for all of these things, then it will be easier, much easier for me!!!

NEXT QUESTION: (perhaps I should start another thread?)
1. I figure since my valve cover (rocker cover) will be off to do the belt change, I should do the VALVE LASH ADJUSTMENTS at the same time... for this surely I will need to source some of the small SHIMS which are required to adjust the clearances.... does anyone know the name of these shims (good luck then translating into Czech!)? I hope they have them at the vwbusshop.cz) --- and lastly does anyone know of any videos showing the procedure for doing the VALVE LASH ADJUSTMENTS on a JX engine?

THANKS!!
