Following the gathering, we will offer a 10 day Germany round trip. We will start on Sunday, 16 August 2015 in Jüterbog ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;üterbog).

We will first and foremost offer this round trip to visitors from abroad, but participants from Germany will also be welcome to take part in the event.
We will travel in groups of eight to ten vehicles and meet at the points of interest as well as on the campgrounds in the evenings. The maximum number will be 40 Syncros. The daily stage will not be more than approx. 300 km/185 miles. This will allow us to have enough time to visit sights along the way and to spend time together.

Our first stop will be Dresden ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dresden" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
On Monday, we will continue our journey along the Czech border. We will pass through Bayreuth ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayreuth" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and reach Munich ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munich" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) the same day. From there, we will continue our trip in the direction of Lake Constance ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_constance" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and through the Black Forest ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_forest" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) to meet the Rhine River ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhine" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Next stops will be the Ruhr region ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruhr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and Offroad Park Fürstenforst ( https://www.furstenforest.eu/de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - sorry, no German version available). Here, we will pause for one day. Via Hannover ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannover" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) we will reach Hamburg ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), where the round trip will finish on 25 August 2015.

We look forward to meeting all participants. There is a lot to discover and see.

What a generous offer and fantastic opportunity - we are in and already looking forward to it :ok Already spoken to the folks to agree dog care for a few weeks.
All that is needed now is a plan getting to the show :)
I still like the idea of a mooch around Denmark, sweden and Norway but i'm concious about the amount of days and miles involved (we are ok as have school hols)

Anyone else on board for this?

Also, for those that have emailed, has anyone had anything by way of confirmation ?

I emailed but have had no response. I appreciate deadline is end of May and there is still time.

I only mention this as the :!: in-laws :!: are coming over from Australia for the school holidays  and dates they are banding about is messing our plans up.

Hi there,

I have had a quick look at this thread trying to find out if there is a group of syncros traveling from the UK to the Berlin Bus Fest, but I don't have 3 spare months to read all the pages, so much quicker to ask!

Could anyone let me know if there is a plan to go in convoy, or is it just make your own way over there? I see there is a planned tour for 10 days after, but unfortunately the dreaded work thing means that I will have to travel back fairly soon after the weekend, so is there another group retuning to the UK straight after?

Also, is there a UK syncro group camping area, or luck dip with general camping?

Ta muchly

Can someone summarise exactly what appears to be happening and when?? (maybe start a new thread with the "plan" and those that want to do it can add there names to it...)
Ie.. a group of us lot will head east on such and such date to do XYZ... at this show, that event etc etc....

Scottish syncronauts are putting a display on at volksfling next weekend, that means syncroandy and max and caddy could come up, only a couple of hours on empty motorway chaps

I've got a cheap hotel in Jueterbog, it's just a bit too far to walk.
Wish I had the time to drive there and camp but holidays at work and a gammy leg dictate I can't.
The German tour looks really good, maybe 35 years.... :D

pity you're not flying to Hamburg Simon. Then we could take both my syncros to the meeting. Looks like I'm going alone and I can only take one with me (luxury problem I guess) :pimp
