My van has an issue with locks. Key fits ignition, one of the cab handles and one slider handle.
Drivers door handle barrel is seized (or for different key) and has a broken spring in trigger, tailgate lock also seems to be for a different key, and I'm missing a slider handle.
I am able to re-tumble locks to fit keys myself and will be able to replace the springs in the broken one. However I cant seem to figure how they come apart to access the barrels and don't want to damage them any more than they already are. Anyone taken them apart before?
Door Handles/ locks. How do they come apart?

if you've got them of the door clean the really well around the workings and you'll detect a tiny roll pin (or it may even be a grub screw, i cant remember). remove that and carefully slide barrel out (if you can re-tumble a barrel you'll know you have to pop the key in before you slide the barrel out- but a friendly reminder never hurts)
cant rmember exactly where it is and i didn't take pics - but there are photos on here i'm pretty sure

Been down the unit just and got them off. Drivers side cab handle is so corroded the pin can hardly be seen and trying to tap it out just causes the handle to crumble. So that's scrap and in the bin it goes.
Only other issues is the tailgate lock. That's really clean and pin is clearly visible. Just cant seem to shift it. What did you use to tap it out with?
And need another slider handle and a cab handle now too as drivers one cant be saved.
Barrels I'll be re keying have the wrong key so will just pop them out carefully so the bits don't spring everywhere!

Tailgate lock now been apart and successfully re-tumbled. Just needed to hit the pin a bit harder. Now works perfectly. So pretty happy with that
