valve stem oil seals 2.0 air cooled
Hi just doing a decoke and rings. I was wondering has anyone fitted valve stem rubbers to a 2 ltr Aircooled . I know they are not ment to have them but what do we think about fitting them? Would there be a benifit or would it interfere.....

No benefit from fitting anything like that!! If the guides and valves are good, then minimal oil will get past them!!
Also if you're running a high lift cam you'll have clearance issues too!!

Thanks for that Paul, have ordered new guides. Kind I thought that if the manufacturer had not fitted them then it's for a reason. Appreciate your response.
