Easy bushes....ooer missus

Post by Sir Brixalot »

Had a creaking coming front NS front for a while. The shock was an advisory on a previous mot but not the last one. While I've got the wheel off can you suggest which bushes are easiest to change so I can have a go. I think it might be the upper wishbone but that'll be a job for a mechanic and it's hard to pin down where the noise is comung from.

Sounds like wishbone certainly. You do need access to an arc or mig welder to re-tack them. This is the proper way to do them:

Likely to be minimum of 2 hours labour but wouldn't want to speculate beyond that. Wheels need setting up again afterwards (for the record, perfectly upright).
