Radius bushes

Just doing the radius rod bushes. One has metal plate and a 'seating spigot', one is Just all rubber. Which one goes to the wheel side and which to the front. Sitting here waiting to fit them and can't till someone tells me ! Manual diesnt mention it, cheers in advance, John

On mine there is a metal plate at both sides ...

Mine both had a metal plate bonded into the larger diameter side of each bush as well as the big washers you use behind the nut but the quality of mine was not good as the rubber is already starting to show small cracks, you just don't seem to be able to get good after market bits do you !!!! I would guess that if only one of each pair has a metal base that this one goes at the back but its only a hunch?

The rubber one goes on the wheel side, as you put it, and the metal plate one is on the open end of the rod, towards the front.

Thanks everyone. I need a Bentley manual I reckon. One side done, wish id bought the poly ones, its a load of hassle and not something i want to do again.
