Hi all,
Anyone got opinions on the best product to paint a new fuel tank with? It's a Brickwerks tank and comes in primer so just wondering what to use for the top coat?
Many thanks folks

Well I used rustoelium on mine, 2 coats,
But I may paint over the underneath with barcoat and then stonechip
You need the barcoat otherwise the stonechip reacts with the rustoelium!

Re: Best paint for new fuel tank
Thanks for that lanboydnsr
I was going to use Eastwoods Rust encapsulator but wasn't sure if this was suitable, considering it's new and (hopefully) not rusty yet! What about plain old Hammerite?
I'm in Portugal btw and am finding Rustoleum tricky to come by but Hammerite is everywhere and I have a tin of Eastwoods already.
