No amount of wiggling of the relay will get them to work now whereas it did before. So I ordered a brand spanker from Simon Brickyard and Associates but to no avail, same symptoms.
Green flasher indicator comes on the dash (and parking lights work) , but no flashing action! I have taken off the stalk and given it a good clean and checked the hazard switch to make sure all the connections are good checked the relevant fuses, had a look at the crown of earths (I cleaned them up and replaced most of the connectors about a year ago) I can't get my head around the wiring diagram as to how it all works though. HAzard warning switch replacement next?

I don't know if the indicator switches are connected to an earth on the column or not - but my horn stopped working and I found that the earth at the lower end of the column was disconnected - have you had any trouble with the horn also? ( It is a wire that goes onto a spade terminal at the joint area) Might be worth a look.

Ta, I had a look at the wiring diagrams and that column spade connector is only for the horn usage, the indicators earth in the "dash panel wiring loom", where ever that is!

If the hazards aren't working, I think this means that the indicator stalk is in the clear.

£5 from GSF how come so cheap? Brickyard is £20 (and out of stock) has anyone tried one from GSF?

Re: return of the dodgy indicators
did you solve this? I have a similar problem - the flasher switch does not work - the green light comes on and stays on. My indicators do work however. But my horn fuse on fuse position 12 keeps blowing straight away - is this linked? Any help, sign posts gratefully received

Re: return of the dodgy indicators
The 5 pound hazard switches work fine, but getting them to snap into the dash pod and stay there needs some careful filing and fettling of the switch. I'd save up if doing it again!Hacksawbob wrote:£5 from GSF how come so cheap? Brickyard is £20 (and out of stock) has anyone tried one from GSF?
