Re: vw t25 running problem
What were you doing when it cut out each time (i.e. cruising, accelerating, braking, stopped at lights etc)?

Re: vw t25 running problem
Well it could be anything,
And without being there and witnessing the symptoms we would be plainly guessing,
It could be the
Coil
Plugs
A bad ignition circuit
Blocked fuel filter
Worn points if it has them, or dodgy ECU,
Dodgy fuel,
Overheating
Faulty sensor keeping the choke on,
Charging fault,
Intermittent faults are difficult to diagnose, and impossible if your not there!

Re: vw t25 running problem
If it just cuts out without any misfiring, power loss, hesitation etc, that sounds electrical to me. See if you can make it cut out when its ticking over by wiggling coil connection, engine earth straps etc. Check HT lead from coil to distributor. Lots of things it could be though, bad contact anywhere between ignition switch and engine.
