Our long-awaited family European tour this summer will be taking us across Germany and then into Austria (hopefully right down to Vienna) so I'll report back. There are various friends and places we want to see so our route may not be the most direct.
I took a GCSE at school and I got a really crap grade, it just didn't go in. I now find that I can recall more now than back then I've ordered some CD's off fleabag to recite in the car, it's better than nothing and the locals do appreciate it if you try, however bad your German!
