Syncro Front CV Boot Protectors dimensions and shape

Post by lsidir »

Hi all,

I am refurbishing the front cv boot protectors. Metal parts have been blasted and powder coated and I found a strong piece of rubber that looks the same as the old one (also it was expensive, 30 euro for half a meter...)

Do any of you have the shape and dimensions to cut the rubber to the original shape? Maybe a 1:1 scale in a pdf or something?

Thank you!

Lefteris, I made a set to Neil's pattern and they worked a treat only ..... The rubber I used was approx 5/6 mm thick and not sure if its a 16" think or not but I had trouble compressing the rubber enough to get a good fit . When I do the next set I will experiment with thinner rubber.
