Tailgate Differences

As a newbie and in need of a replacement tailgate for my 1990, Atlantic.

Can anyone help with identifying the appropriate tailgate for this type and model year, with some advice on the interchangeability of tailgates for different model years.

Are there part numbers to double check?

So if I find one of any age, the only difference is the emblem embossed section ?

No issue with the type of lock, I already have found out that the tailgate will not require apertures for wash and wiper?

IIRC the lock changed in this year.

aye as kev says, if you get the one with holes for wash wipe etc then you have them to fit or bung the hole up , ditto the locks/early late. but physically the gates interchange
