Assuming nobody's changed your 21w bulbs for 5w (or directional cheap LEDs or whatever other fashionable rubbish), then all you need to do is make sure the bulbs aren't old and blackened, the reflectors are clean and haven't lost all their silvering, the wiring's not corroded and dropping voltage, and the lenses are clean.

Ta Adrian,yes ive cleaned the glass and the bulbs [its the rears ] the problem is seeing the light in bright sunlight!.
I will check the voltage at the bulbs and the earths.

Make sure you check it with the bulb connected or you won't see any voltage drop, if there is any.

Cheers Nicq,will do,i have an Avo model 8mk2 meter so I can see the voltage swing!
