Help please

Post by harribob2825 »

I have a t25 magnum multivan and I need to know the name of the plastic trim/skirt under the front bumper, what is the main relevance apart from deflecting the spray from other vehicles etc, only ask as I think i need to remove it as it is lowered at the front, 60mm spirings inserted and struggling to get the beast up my drive..
Looks easy to remove and don't think it will greatly alter the aesthetics of the van but would like some opinions please or other methods of climbing mount blanc!!!!
Thanks
It's a chin spoiler !!!!
What tools will I need to remove the chin spoiler, do you think? Last question honestly

Chin spoiler held on my Philips headed machine screws if my memory serves me right-these screw into a 'Riv-nut' fixing at intervals around the front deformation panel and fixings on lip of front arch.
When I removed mine several screws had corroded badly causing the rivnut to spin in its housing  Only option for me was to destroy the rivnut and fit new(via eb-y)
On the screws that I did get out I cut with a air wheel a slot for a large flat bladed screwdriver-bit of plus gas 10 white knuckles and several grunts!-good luck :ok

personally I think it helps with fuel / noise and handling

as well as looking much better.

originally only fitted to vans with big / deep bumpers

on the plus side if you can remove it without too much damage they sell for around £150
