Looking for the pipe that cools the turbo (1.6TD JX Engine)

Post by Winchweight »

Any of you guys who've re-engined your machines got the pipe that goes from the flexible hose on the nearside of the engine compartment to the turbo going spare please?

The bracket snapped on mine.

I think I've got a decent one here in my spares stash, I'll have a look later and send you a PM.

It's still available new but it's far too much money! about £50!!
If anyone has a good one that they can measure what it fits on to and the length of it I will see if I can find a better source and stick them on the webshop for the future.

That's true. It'll be a sod to get off though and I cant see what's on the other end, if its in a housing of just vaguely pointing at the turbo.

Are we on about the flexible bit from the fan to the manifold?

Sorry, just re-read.
My mistake.

I do already have the heatshields at the machine shop at the moment, including the extra syncro bit but to be fair they have been there since christmas so I best chase that!

by air pump you mean the part that the other end of the black flex pipe? Because then I wanted it:) In my van everything is missing! I have the metal pipe (with a broken bracket also) but then there is nothing to connect it to even if I fixed it. So basicaly I think I am missing the air pump and the flex pipe.

Does anyone have a photo of that so I can see it?
