Re: Removing sticker residue from paint work
Horrible stuff isn't it - I machine polished my van using a medium cut polish & still couldn't get all the residue off (I had some cr4ppy tribal thing all the way around apart from the front)! I'm looking at getting some of this stuff using some good old fashioned elbow grease which will hopefully sort the last bits:

E D I T: I tried WD40 on mine but it didn't do much at all, however, it could all come down to how strong the adhesive is and/or how long the stickers have been on.

We used to use THIS STUFF to remove stickers and the mess left behind on the computers and laptops we used to re-condition. It works well. A hair-drier also helps soften the sticky mess, making the spray work even better. By the way, petrol works quite well too as it is a powerful solvent.

Petrol works very well, is dead easy to get hold of, and is a big chunk cheaper than almost every other solvent.

Aye, petrol is quite easy to get hold of, can't argue with that
