JK Fridge.
Just Kampers have a fridge for 199. Any one have one of these or any opinions as to whether you think it is good value?
Cheers

Re: JK Fridge.
It's not bad for the money I guess, though it wont run on gas so you'd need a mains hook-up once parked up for the night as your 12v battery wont run it when the engine's switched off. Sorry if I'm stating the bleedin' obvious

Re: JK Fridge.
Looks ok says its a two way fridge 12v/240v so as long as you camp at campsites with electricity it will be great.

Re: JK Fridge.
I got a electric cool box on offer from Halfords for £80. Larger than the fridge in van, more space inside but takes up the same room overall and kept everything ice cold. Runs off mains or cigarette lighter. You can get 12v to 240v converters so you can run mains appliances of your leisure battery. I did not trust my 30yr old gas fridge with two small children in the van.
Re: JK Fridge.
get the fridge checked over?? It's not rocket science as long as the flame is good and the flue pipe to the flue vent is sound you are laughing
I couldn't be without a gas powered fridge. Makes life so much easer

Re: JK Fridge.
Im happy with mine, had it plugged into the leisure battery the whole weekend and didn't flatten the battery. Quiet, cold and plenty of space.

Re: JK Fridge.
Old fridge worked fine. Took it out to do some interior work, put it back in and it's never worked again on 12 or 24v. I also haven't used gas for same reason as above. £0 yr old fridge. I know gas gives you more options when camping but new 3 way is over my budget

Never sure where I'm going till i get there.
Re: JK Fridge.
Had mine out several times and it's fine. Sure you put it back right?
(PS for others: take photos of the wiring etc before removal.....it's the future)

Re: JK Fridge.
Just purchased one today, will report back once installed and working. Only cost 149.99 as I had £50 worth of vouchers. Need to sell my RM123 3-way, old but still working, I don't use the gas.
