Back Seat Hinge Rod HELP!!

Post by hayleigh-claire »

Hi Guys/Dolls

I have recently purchased my T25 1989 Watercooled 5spd VW.

I have taken the Original Seats apart to fit some new covers ( from Dublin )
I have a problem?

The Long Hinge Rod that attached the base to the backrest wont go back in fully enough for it to clip back in? what am I doing wrong?

Please Help
Thanks Hayleigh Cwmbran South Wales

Okay even though nobody knows how to do it, ive managed (with the help from my boyfriend) to finish the job.

The large Bolt wasnt loosened so once we did that it all (with great difficulty) the seat became a reconstructed jigsaw puzzle.

All done thanks!!

Were the seat covers faux leather ones with Velcro to self fit and do they look any good?
Ultimately, are we not all air cooled?
