I thought of a couple more things...

Front door check strap seals

I'm also going to fit new door and tailgate seals if I can afford it.

There's quite a few on the yard. But I'll pop a few up. I'm going to be away but Darrens hopefully gonna either email me them or I may see if he can post them up direct. To save me downloading them out in the desert.

If number plates are degraded how about some sparkling new ones. And tart up the wheels, and some tyre paint wouldn't go amiss. Plenty of back to black stuff as well for any black plastic and rubber. This would be the minimum my brother would have done after a respray.. and he was one of York's best car painters without doubt! :ok He's a bloody bus driver now

Number plates are brand spankers!

I'm gonna get all the black stuff repainted too. A full set of side planks will be going on also.

I've used vactan. It's about 18 months old now. And still not gone rusty. It's good stuff.

The wheels are Ronal 17x7.5 from an audi quattro they also come in 17x8 if you can find them. I used larger studs and 20mm spacers on the rear, with longer bolts and 16mm spacers on the front centres enlarged but hub covers removed. Centre cap has been modified to turn the Speedo.

I just dropped the rust bucket off with Darren. There's some very nice lumps of metal in his unit. I reckon the vans in pretty good hands.
