Anyone used an Oztent
Been looking at awnings to be used with out T25 Firetruck, looked at the Kyham Motordome and Spacemaker, but trawling through various pages I saw an innovative tent called an Oztent, said to be erected in 30 seconds so I needed to have a look. It's a remarkable design but wondered if anyone has used one along side a T25?

My brother has one but he uses it stand alone. It doesn't fit on his Landis 2B. He swears by it, top quality.

Re: Anyone used an Oztent
we all looked at them at the overland show, very nice, quick erection, but long package when down and not cheap, for the big ones with equivilent space to most van awnings especially, and if you start adding to it you are quickly spending a grand plus
whole point of camper for me was to get away from tenting and t3 big enough with a fiamma or similar on the side
for kids their own small tent(s) more versatile option once they are big/ugly enough to move out of the van and they like their own space

Re: Anyone used an Oztent
We bought one of these to use as a kitchen tent with our Touareg tent, before the van. I'm going to try it as an awning and storage space for the van praps with the canvas tarp between the van and tent. They are very quick to put up and take down and because they aren't canvas much easier to dry out. Not huge but should work for sitting/storage/loo etc. if it doesn't work I'll go back to the awning that came with the van, but it takes a while to put up cos it's like a frame tent.

And if we get a dry summer
and go away for longer ill use the Touareg and do something like this

However Oztents are fab but hugely expensive, canvas and the cheapest isn't that big inside

Thanks for your info guys, they do seem to be very good but a bit on the expensive side. I just wondered if anyone had attached one to a T25 gutter
