Side window woes....

Post by Santa79 »

Well,
now the "summer" is fast approaching, I have decided I really need to fix (or replace) my sliding window. Basically, the entire locking mechanism is missing (yes, amazingly easy to open from the outside!). I have tried to find a replacement locking mechanism to no avail, I guess my inexperience and this being my first project is starting to show!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here are a few photos...

The second one is the locking catch. Notice there is nothing in the way of clips present....
