Hi gents anyone give me advice on how to determine which sending units I might need for vdo gauges any advice would be appreciated .

T3 speedos work off the front wheel via a cable so there's no sender available for that
The Tacho depends on your engine type diesel or petrol, so that would be the alternator or the coil

don't know about the fuel and coolant temp

Hi kevtherev my understandin is for fuel and temp gauge you need a sender is this correct

most definitely.
there are senders in the van but you'll have to buy and fit the VDO sender that matches the gauge, hence my not knowing what they will be or where you'd fit them

I was looking at this too but just for coolant temp.

there is this fitting kit from Just Kampers -

but it seems pretty expensive to me - I've been told to go to Demon tweeks who will do a sensor for the vdo gauge, however you apparently need to make sure you get the correct sensor for the gauge otherwise you will end up with false temp readings

In the past I have just gone to the Breakers yard and taken senders off of German cars. Hoping to get the right one...
