I can't help, but I need the answer to this too!

I've been hanging my nose over Saab seats on eBay as they apparently are a good fit.

Annoyingly my neighbour has some X5 seats but they are too high because of all the electrics and heating etc, so basically your circulation will be cut off by the steering wheel.

Any seats need to be as low to the floor as possible apparently.

I am however no expert, so I will follow this thread eagerly!

I have the theory that any seat will fit within reason even the x5 ones. Cut the runners off or the bits you don't need and fabricate them in. Job done

The only seats that fit without cutting and welding are T3/T25 ones

I have MR2 seats in my van not to much work to fit them and £40 for a good pair of ebay

I havent driven my van for over a month now, drove it for the first time today and I have to say I'd forgotten how comfy the seats are, Im a lanky 6'2 and theres plenty of room for my kness under the steering wheel.

I have just fitted a pair of Saab in my van, very comfortable and would recommend!!!

They were only fifty quite on ebay though they were slightly wider than my original ones. Unfortunately, the sliding rails were not the same. The driver seat was straight forward to fit, I cut the rails down and managed to adapt. However, the passenger side was a bit more tricky, for this I did have to have a bracket made...

I have a pair of Alpha Romeo Gtv Phase 1 Leather seats, they look awesome. But wont work with swivels, I removed the van runners, and used the Apha runners.

I really enjoy my Porsche 911 SC seats in my camper. Not that difficult to install.

I've have put Leather Saab 9-5 seats into my t4 and t25 and i've got to say they are fantastic.
Just had to re-drill 2 holes on each seat.
Your better off visiting breakers yards as the seats are fetching alot of money on ebay due to us van owners.

As above. Porsche 911 seats fit really easy. Drill out spots from old runners and bolt in real easy.

Found Saab leather ones to be a nightmare in a hot summer, could wring a thirst out after a few hours driving.
