Okay thanks for the advice, it's bee really helpful!! ... Okay, this is what I have planned so far:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Le+ ... =2&t=m&z=9" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
My logic is:
SUN: We arrive in Le Harve at 8am on the Sunday morning. I will leave here and travel to a friends house in saint avit (arriving about 3pm) and spend the afternoon and night around there somewhere.
MON: We will leave around 10am and travel down to the pyranees (May go the coastal way towards Biarritz) arriving at approx 3-4pm, where we will spend the remainder of the evening by the lake.
TUES: We will stay around the Pyranees area again if we like it ... if not we have a day spare to spend somewhere we do like.
WED: We will set off around 8 or 9am towards Oradour-Sur-Glane but stop somewhere nice / with something to do half way due to the distance (marked D on the map - if anyone knows of anywhere worth going to / staying in this area, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!), arriving here at approx 1pm.
THURS: We will again set off at approx 8 / 9 am to go to Oradour-Sur_Glane, arriving at around 11:00 / 12:00 where we will do touristy stuff maybe look at other things, maybe move on somewhere else.
FRI: We will set off for Paris in the morning and visit the Eiffle tower and anything else Paris has to offer.
SAT: We will head back to Le Harve finding something to do along the way, if not in Paris.
I know it may sound a bit military style haha and I know we probably won't even stick to it but i'd like to get a rough idea of where i'm going so that if we don't happen to find anything we still know where we are going and so that I have a rough idea of where I need to get to each day in order to make it home lol.
What do you guys think of that? ... Any suggestions of places to go to ... how much road charges may be along that route ... places I should actually avoid ... campsites close to our destinations that you can recommend?
Thanks so much guys! I have literally marked up that route from using google strret view to see where looks nice lol so if there are places you can recommend just off that route please let me know so I can take a look!?
Thanks again,
Cal & Al
