Colour idea's

Post by ro6er »

Hi, I'm about to embark on the long, tedious, soul destroying and yet liberating experience of re-painting my bus. Only soul destroying because of the abuse I'll get for spending hours on it :) The below photo really doesn't do justice to how many scratches and patina the body work has..

I was thinking of going for RAL 2000 but I don't want to end up looking too RAC... Or maybe 1037

Has any one else gone for similar colours? Or think I should go for a particular colour? I need some inspiration.

Thanks for any :)

Ah I see you're a designer as well, so you probably get my issues with colour. It's all a bit like a tattoo, I need to pick the right colour early on and get used to the idea I think.

Seems like a good idea but it is hard to visualise it. I might faff around with some photoshop layers or something.

Also been using http://www.ralcolor.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which is the colour system I have to stick too.
