not sure if this is the right section for this....
underneath my metal engine hatch, is something that looks like insulation covered in a thin sheet of plastic which was previously tightly attached to the hatch. However it appears that over the years this has worn away, and now some of the plastic sheeting is coming apart and needs to be replaced...
I looked on the forum and the net but couldnt easily find anything concerning the underside of engine bay hatches.
Can anyone please tell me what is underneath their hatch? as in just bare metal or some form of insulation... if it is insulation where or what could I use to replace the one that is worn....is there something specialists or is it a diy job...
many thanks
