Those Caddy tailgates get used a lot in the beetle and bay VW scenes - they often get welded in as dashboards, or as rear engine panels. I'm surprised there's any left, to be honest.

Love the front panel.

I used one in '08 on my Syncro crewcab.

Some people graft them into places they just don't look right but on what I assume to be an Aircooled van I reckon that's 'fit for purpose'.

Like the before and after shots . Youve done a good job there . Love the panel on the front you put in. Just a thought will it be instant fail with the black plates on or are you swapping em for the test
