How do you test your turbo is working ?

Post by Sagemagoo »

1.9TD AAZ with a JX setup.

Power has been down and a fair bit of black smoke on acceleration. I've fitted a new air filter, checked the timing (appears OK but was my 1st time), replaced the injectors with recons but still no guts, now I can't hear my turbo spinning.

Are there any straightforward checks I can do to see if the turbo is fubarred?

Cheers
