Feeling unloved, take a guess? seat from 89 van fit 84 van?

Hi there,
New member based in Glasgow and struggling round things ever one else might find obvious
Just bought our 84 van and she is in the garage getting new sills to past her MOT Perth way at a garage that was recommended. We have 3 year old so I have found a bench seat in Chester for the front from a 89 van; my question is will it fit as its a long way to go to find out? Are all T25 seat mountings the same ? I have looked everywhere on the net and cant find the answer but you guys seem to be in the know; was hoping flattery was going to get me a long way but feel a bit ignored. Even a pointer to where I might find out would be great. Thanks

I don't know the answer, but I would guess that it could be "made to fit", even if it doesn't just slide onto the existing seat rails.
