REAR LIGHTS??

I brought some clear rear lights for my 85 autosleeper but when we came to fit they appeared to be different fixings at the back.
Are there different types?
Ive looked in the wiki but couldnt see anything (although I might be missing it!) so dont know which type would fit my van.

There are two types of rear lights mate.

Hella (rarer and more expensive)
ULO

The Hella ones say Hella on the lens (cannot remember where & its dark so cannot check, will tomorrow tho)

The Hella and ULO rea lights look the same but the light housings are slightly different you need the right lenses for the backs..

Thanks for that - nothing on the front of the clear ones as aftermarket but will look at ours in the morning for any clues.
Paid a bundle for them so pretty gutted they dont fit!

Yep, thats what weve found out - when brought they didnt say there were different types and as I hadnt seen anything on here I wasnt aware. the 'side clip fittings' are the main difference I think.....

Well you have two choices mate, either re-sell them (I am after a clear set tbh) or buy a Hella light housing (shouldnt be too hard to convert the wiring if you need to)

Plenty of Hella light holders knocking aorund. They are far from rare or uber expensive. I got a pair for £20 on here a year or two back

Just place a wanted ad and see what pops and keep your eye on ebay
