Re-spray / patch up - Warrington area?

Post by whoopsadaisy »

Hi folks... I recently discovered that my Betsy and dry stone walls don't gel well together and am now the sorry owner of a deep scratched van.

Can anyone recommend a bodywork place in the North West? When I first bought my van I was initially going to get her completely resprayed and was recommended someone in the Warrington area... I've searched and searched and can't find that thread though so perhaps I've dreamt it!

Many Thanks!

Taylor and Sons in High Leigh, 5 mins from Lymm services do all sorts of VW repairs/renovations etc. I called in to see them about some electrical work on the van last year but they were very busy so i had to get an auto electrician to sort it out. Will go and see them if anything else crops up though. Tel 01925 551644 Swineyard Lane. Have a look at their website.
the future is unwritten

Don't go to Bodycraft in Latchford, their paint is excellent but prep is poor they use so much filler and don't weld up the holes

The bloke I use is excellent. Not sure if it may be too far for him to travel to you but I am sure you could drop it off with him.
Here are a few links to my restoration carried out by him.

He has about 25 years experience and specialises in classic car restoration but does just about anything else.

If you are interested PM me.
