Hi all.
I have a problem with my doka. Iv converted from a dg to a 1.9d 1Y. Ive used a petrol box and changed the bell housing etc. No i have no 2nd or 4th gears and cant seem to be able to adjust the linkage to get them. Having searched it looks like i need the rear linkage section from a diesel van. Is it possible to modify the petrol one to work what i have?? Im on a very tight budget so dont want to shell out loads.

check to see that you have mounted the rear selector shaft bush on the front of the boss of the gearbox, if fitted on the rear it will baulk 2 and 4
did you change the gearbox mount to the diesel version ?

its with the petrol mount. I think ive fitted the bush bracket to the rear. Il have a check later. does the deisel moun make that much difference?
