Has anyone camped in the carpark at John O'Groats?
I am just looking into a 'Scottish tour' for next year and I saw there is a carpark right by the sea.
Thanks in advance

Re: John O'Groats
Yeh we have, it was in early January and there is a sign we camped under saying no camping. Their was nobody up there at that time of year as it was sooooooooo cold but it was quite nice, especially round the little harbor bit and the sky at night was so clear you could see millions of stars. Their was a campsite with static vans on but it looked closed.

Spend the night in the car park at Dunnet Head...quiet place facing Orkneys.
