Amazing Pakistan in a VW T3!

Post by T3TE »

After lots of money and time spent; my T3 is finally in a state in which I can actually enjoy it. Here are some pics and videos of my recent trip to the North of Pakistan including the Deosai national park which is the second highest plateau in the world!

Let me know what you guys think of the van and the whole trip!

Cheers!

I'm the one in shorts!

And some towing too! The clutch hose at the gearbox had rubbed against the reverse light switch prongs and leaked! Parts are non existent in major cities of PK let alone the North.. however at this weird smallest parts store in a town I was able to find a suitable hose and after some alterations to it I was able to fit it and continue. And to my surprise the hose held up for the rest of the trip!

Since the route to the parts shop was hilly so we decided to hook up cars to the front as well as the rear so that while going down hill I don't over work the brakes. Car on the back provided engine braking.

And on the return journey I misjudged a rock while exiting from a water crossing; the oil was damaged along with a broken oil filter housing. Please remember I have a Toyota 3C-TE motor in my T3 from a Toyota Lucida/Previa/Estima.

Just a reminder of what my T3 looked liked when I bought it!
