HELP PLEASE: HOW DO YOU TENSION THE WATER PUMP TOO THE CRANK ON THE BOTTOM PULLY ON A 1.6 DIESEL T25 1986

My belt is slipping too, tightened alternator belt today but how do you do the water pump belt?

THANKS FOR ADVICE BUT HAVE ALREADY EXPLAINED WHY I USE CAPS LOCK M8

DID LOOK ON FORUM ONLY ADVICE WAS FOR A 1.6 TDI DIESEL MINE IS NOT TDI SO UNSURE IF IT IS DIFFERENT THOUGHT THIS WAS A FRIENDLY PLACE FOR HELP

That pipe was still available from VW a few years back - be careful as there are two different sizes of the section that goes to the tank. (Price a few years back was £95 though- my wallet knows, I needed it there and then though)

A COMMON FAULT THAT CAUSES PIPES TO BURST IS THE INCORRECT EXPANSION TANK CAP
THE OLD BLACK ONES TENDED TO FAIL AND NOT RELIEVE PRESSURE BUILD UP WHICH
I HAVE HAD MYSELF
IF IT IS COLORED BLUE THEN IT HAS ALREADY BEEN CHANGED FOR THE LATER TYPE
AND LIKELY TO BE GOOD
AFTER CHANGING MY BLOWN HOSE AND FITTING A NEW CAP THE VAN DID A FURTHER 20K+
BEFORE SUFFERING A HEAD GASKET FAILURE
