Was this a standard feature on the Caravelle GL, or was it an optional extra?
Or maybe this guy made it himself, I don't know.
Appreciate any feedback, cheers.

Re: T25 Caravelle GL - Extending Sliding Door Footstep?
To be honest, unless its halfway between ground and interior floor, the step is fairly useless and will just make banging your head on the way in, far more likely. My elderly mum struggles making it inside but we found if you yelled "BOOO!" at just the right moment, she was soon in.
Come to think of it, I've even been thoughtful and given her an option in her final minutes. I suggested she could sit on her back step, think of something really, really, nice with her eyes screwed up tight, then clang! One whack with a shovel and its all done. Wouldn't feel a thing either.

No, she loves it. Always getting me to tell her that one again. Thinks its a great way to go -along with the slightly musical accompaniment of the shovel. She says not all sons have such a kind heart.
Actually, shes on holiday in Yorkshire right now. Sent her a text to tell her that the South Cones have been hoisted (whatever they are) and to keep an eye out just in case. She needs to know such things.
Must get her to join 80/90.....
