Id might be inclined to make contact with a 4x4 club that lanes in the area you are interested in for local knowledge. Whenever the syncronauts go to Devon its mainly to the South. You could also get in touch with the local council and check any that are shown on the os 25k maps against their updated definitive map.

will have a look , i see that there is an organisation you can join for 45 quid but i dont know if that's really worth it ? or what you get for that?
