Thought it as well to let the standard sump live on for a while.
And when the sump eventually got fitted it needed some metal off it,
where this bolt is:

you can see it on the sump where its touched the bolt and left an oil mark:

and then spannerboy makes precise adjustments:

The standard sump had an amazing amount of splash baffles inside.
I have kept it for experimentation, possibly someone would like to try shortening it.
Noticed the whole dipstick has moved higher due to a higher hole it fits in now, so the oil measurement needs reassessing,
however I am not sure of this as yet, so it is open for advice or discussion.
Otherwise it seems ok and I am hoping to size up and modify the protection soon.
