rotten disc plates..
Hi all ... been removing my front discs etc today awaiting new shinny anchor stuff, as with my last van the inner disc cover plate is rotten, are these that important as i have had to drill the screws of and remove them, due to them being rotten ?

They're called splash plates, I assume to keep water away from discs in heavy rain/puddles
I fitted new ones as mine were rotten and they're cheap enough.£20 each I think.
