Re: Rusty Westy
Great thread 16vmini
I was going to ask about the tailgate too, they do lower inner/outer repair panels for the sliding door so was looking for rear ones too, guess a new door is easier/cheaper.

Re: Rusty Westy
i have a bottom part of a good tail gate that i bought of ebay , so thinking repairing the rear tail gate is the way to go.
allthough still think a new sliding door is in order.
Just done 600 odd miles in the last 4 days . Yorkshire and around , had a great time , stayed on a working farm.

Re: Rusty Westy
ordered a computer 120mm fan to replace the current noisy fridge fan :

got some time to remove the fridge today , did not take long now i have done it once before ,
very surprised the current motor still worked :

wired and mounted the new fan in the same place , sticks out a bit more , but seems to miss the side of the bus ok :

although after putting it all back , and testing the fridge is seems like the air flow is not as much , VERY quiet , cant hear it unless i put my ear on the vent.
but it seems to be allways running once the fridge gets hot at the back
so .. i either need to :
1) not worry ! lol
2) fit a better flowing fan
3) try and fit a 2nd fan further up the back of the fridge
thinking of going route 3 at the moment. , well 1 for now then 3
also i have bought a replacement sliding door , current door has allot of rust at the bottom , also has a major dent / scrape in the side ... so just simpler and nicer to find a better donor.

and bought a LHD sliding door with practically no rust, so a quick rub down then slap some red onto it :
