Flexible Solar Panels

Hi,
I'm looking at getting solar panels when i get my leisure battery, i want to be able to run my fridge off it plus led lighting, laptop and any other gadgets i can lay my hands on. I'm thinking about getting the Elecsol 270 and the plan is to put solar panels on the roof of my high top, i thought the flexible panels would save on some of the weight up there.
But as this is all new to me i'd appreciate any advice.

not a chance to run the fridge in less its the latest fridges designed to run on 12v, the older ones no way!

I've got the old rm212, and i was hopeing that a 270ah battery and 2 50w solar panels would run it

but if they aren't going to do the job i might have to stick to running the fridge on gas

fair enough, i'll stick with the gas for the fridge, but i might still use the solar panels for the leisure battery if they are any good

solid panels are cheaper, i have a 48watt panel on my roof perm mounted, charges up the leisure battery brill!

bugger me at 2.85 meter thats rather long!!

I looked at that, it's a bit big for my van, unless i could fold it round the front of the high top

just been sorting out stuff int the van ready for the weekend and put the multi meter on the solar regulator, getting 21v from the panel and 14.05 volts at the battery !
